HANGOVER IV WELLNESS

Hangover Support
IV Nutrition Therapy

Hangover IV Therapy is based on a reference formulation containing Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, and components described as anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory agents. Symptoms following alcohol consumption, such as nausea, headache, fatigue or dehydration, may involve several physiological factors. At BMS Clinic, we prioritise medical assessment and medication safety. Our doctors review individual symptoms, recent alcohol consumption and medical history to determine whether medical support, fluid replacement or other appropriate care is needed.

FORMULA INGREDIENTS

Hangover Support Formula Ingredients

The reference formulation lists three vitamin-based ingredients alongside anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory components. Vitamins contribute to normal physiological functions, while anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory agents involve medication use and require individual medical assessment of symptoms, contraindications and potential risks.

01 / VITAMIN B COMPLEX

Vitamin B Complex

Involved in normal energy metabolism and nervous system function. Its nutritional role does not mean intravenous supplementation can accelerate alcohol metabolism.

02 / VITAMIN B12

Vitamin B12

Contributes to red blood cell formation, DNA synthesis and normal nerve function. It is an essential nutrient required by the body.

03 / VITAMIN C

Vitamin C

Involved in collagen synthesis and supports normal immune function and cellular antioxidant defence.

04 / ANTI-NAUSEA

Anti-Nausea Medication

A medication component listed in the reference product formulation. It may be considered for nausea or vomiting symptoms when clinically appropriate. The specific medication, contraindications and potential drug interactions must be verified by a doctor.

05 / ANTI-INFLAMMATORY

Anti-Inflammatory Medication

A medication component listed in the reference product formulation. Depending on the medication, there may be gastrointestinal, kidney or bleeding risks, particularly after alcohol consumption or dehydration. Careful medical assessment is required.

*There is insufficient evidence that IV fluids or vitamin supplementation can rapidly relieve hangovers, accelerate alcohol clearance or prevent alcohol-related harm. Anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory medications may have contraindications and adverse effects, particularly after alcohol consumption or dehydration. Actual medications, formulations and dosages require medical assessment. Confusion, abnormal breathing or other signs of possible alcohol poisoning require immediate emergency medical attention.

MEDICAL ASSESSMENT

Medical Assessment & Safety

Symptoms following alcohol consumption vary between individuals, and not every situation requires intravenous fluids. At BMS Clinic, our doctors assess the timing of alcohol consumption, current symptoms, degree of dehydration, current medications, allergy history, liver and kidney function, and other relevant health risks. Anti-nausea or anti-inflammatory medications may have contraindications and alcohol-related safety concerns and should not be self-administered. Confusion, abnormal breathing, inability to wake the person, seizures or other signs of possible acute alcohol poisoning require immediate emergency medical attention, rather than routine outpatient IV therapy.

✓ Doctor-led assessment of post-alcohol symptoms, dehydration and health risks
✓ Careful evaluation of anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory medication suitability and contraindications
✓ Administration and monitoring by qualified healthcare professionals, with additional medical support arranged when necessary
